Andy Catanese

Andy is a dedicated full-time tutor at Strategic Test Prep, where he focuses on guiding students toward success and personal growth. He recently took the official March 2025 digital SAT and earned a perfect score of 1600! Beyond his command of the test, Andy has over 15 years of tutoring experience, including managing an after-school tutoring program and providing five years of virtual instruction. He has also contributed to math curriculum development in contract roles and worked as a corporate trainer for new travel advisors. Drawing on this background, Andy played a key role in helping Strategic Test Prep create new practice questions and update our SAT math workbook for 2025.

In his spare time, Andy is actively involved in musical theatre as a performer and has taken on roles as a vocal director and pit orchestra conductor. An accomplished writer, he aspires to create a musical that one day reaches Broadway.

Andy graduated from the University of Connecticut with a perfect 4.0 GPA in Mathematics and a 3.94 GPA in Secondary Mathematics Education.
